Gotta love, love the way that you made this heart break
Cause I know that when it's over you're still wrong, foul play
So I won't be afraid of the love that we once made
Cause I'm sure that when we're older I'll be stronger for your games
But I'd be lying if I said I didn't hate you for the shitty half-assed reasons that you waited for the moment you found 'Plan B'
So don't tell me we were toxic when you're oh so fuckin' childish with the way we disagreed on certain things that never mattered much to me
And it's so funny how you told me you could never see yourself with someone else, but spent a weekend pitching someone else's tent
I hope someday you wake up crying, feeling oh so very guilty
Best of luck to your new boyfriend with his stupid little chest piece, honestly
So let it out loud, but keep it in
Cause you were going downhill in the end
This will be the last you hear of me
Burn my body and confess your sins
If I ever make it home again, I will never trust a god damn person
this was the first track to resonate with me and it still does. "never really drowning but never really out of the water". says what i can't find the words for. Peace
Really great. If you like Hail the Sun, DGD, I can't recommend these guys enough. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Dwellings makes swancore with a twist - to my ears they have a more progressive-focused sound, and the lyrics and themes are always interesting and are what keeps bringing me back for another listen.
