You were standing all alone in a crowd of heat
Emotion takes control, I'd love to get to know you more than him or anybody else here
Stuck between a day-dream simulation and a life of compensation for whats back home
Baby I don't know if I could stay here, decay here
Just know that it's so hard for me to choose
And pardon me if I seem so abrasive, contagious
But how could I pass over without you
Now you've run off somewhere new and so I follow through the ages
I don't want to die alone, I don't want to live this life without her love
Her love is pure, unlike any other I've had before
And we can stay married, we can stay young
Or spend an eternity in what comes after
Baby I don't know if I could stay here, decay here
Just know that it's so hard for me to choose
And pardon me if I seem so abrasive, contagious
But how could I pass over without you
OOOOOO girl, you better watch your tongue
Cause you don't know what you're saying
You don't know about all the years we spent to be separated in two probable places
I can't think he'd forgive me for our love and how I found another someone in a land where death is washed away
There's just something about you that makes me wanna stay and it's your love
this was the first track to resonate with me and it still does. "never really drowning but never really out of the water". says what i can't find the words for. Peace
Really great. If you like Hail the Sun, DGD, I can't recommend these guys enough. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Dwellings makes swancore with a twist - to my ears they have a more progressive-focused sound, and the lyrics and themes are always interesting and are what keeps bringing me back for another listen.
